About Nishtha Kapoor

Nishtha is a development sector professional with over 7 years of experience and a passion for storytelling. She is also a feminist poet and artist who believes that art is a transformative tool for social change. She finds deep meaning in making learning joyful and engaging, with a special focus on play-based methodologies. Nishtha is committed to working with young people, nurturing their leadership skills, and creating pathways that enable them to step into formal workplaces.
She holds a Master’s in Politics (International Studies) from Jawaharlal Nehru University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Child Rights Law from NLSIU, Bangalore. She is a fellow at Vital Voices, a Rise Up Leader, and was selected as a ‘Young Leader Delegate’ to the 2019 AIT SEASAT Youth Conference in Taiwan.
In her current role as Knowledge Manager, Nishtha focuses on capturing, sharing, and making accessible the rich insights and good practices emerging from the field. She ensures that the voices and experiences of educators and practitioners remain at the heart of all knowledge-sharing efforts.
