Zafreen Neha

About Me: 

Zafreen Neha is a development professional, currenting working as Programme Coordinator in CSEI. She had been leading and engaging with more than 500 socially excluded adolescents and young people in five districts of Bihar along with being leader of the secretariat team at Bihar Ambedkar Students' Forum (BASF) - a membership based youth led forum of socially excluded young people (Dalit, Adivasi, Muslim, Nomadic Tribes) in Bihar. Her experiences to bring intersectionality of exclusion, equity and inclusion along with expertise on "comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) and localised knowledge and experiences on Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR) has helped her to engage with several state and national level organisations for advocacy and strengthening the concerns of youth and adolescents in Bihar. She has also represented youth issues of SRHR at international platform and been able to attend exposure and internships to strengthen network. She has completed her graduation from Patna University and have been active in social sector for past 5 years. She is also a member of vartaKarta Board of vartaLeap and a Youth Champion Member of the vartaLeap Coalition.
