Raju Kendre

Raju Kendre, as the Founder and CEO of Eklavya India Foundation, exemplifies the spirit of social entrepreneurship through his remarkable journey. Coming from a nomadic tribal family in Vidarbha, where access to education was limited, Raju's personal experiences serve as a profound source of inspiration. In 2017, he established the Eklavya India Foundation with a clear mission: to promote higher education and leadership among first-generation learners.

With a Master's in Social Work from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences and recently completing his MSc in Development Studies at SOAS, University of London, on a Chevening Scholarship, Raju brings a wealth of academic knowledge and practical expertise to his endeavours. His visionary dream is to establish an interdisciplinary university in Central India, dedicated to empowering historically marginalised communities and fostering effective leadership across all sectors.
