About Commutiny

What is the Commutiny Learning and Leadership Journey?

The Commutiny Learning and Leadership Journey is a year-long programme offered by COMMUTINY – THE YOUTH COLLECTIVE to support young people to work on collaborative initiatives towards strengthening their passion for creating a better world, ignite change within their own selves and lead social change

In becoming a Commutineer, young people will avail of a year-long financial support (between May 2009 and April 2010) to implement social change initiatives that they are passionate about.

In this effort, they will gain opportunities to work closely with other young people who have similar passions and be navigated by leaders in the social sector and other fields. Besides, Commutineers will gain significant platforms to question, understand and explore complex social issues and analyse their effects on human and natural worlds.

COMMUTINY - THE YOUTH COLLECTIVE (YC) is a group of progressive and like minded individuals/ organisations from across the country, who have a passion and belief in the power of young people to bring about social change.
